Feeling crafty!

I ordered scrabble tiles off eBay and am patiently waiting for them so I can start my new craft...scrabble tile pendants. I have everything else I need. My mailman actually just came, I saw him out the window but I don't want to look like I am expecting something. Even though I am. So this weekend I am crafting. I have to paint my canvases for my Cafemom etsy moms promo thing and I am going to make pendants for Christmas gifts. Not much else going on around here. I really don't know why I even blogged today!

I thought it would never happen!

A blog? Me? Not like I don't have enough to do. Mom, wife, maid, cook, taxi driver, teacher, painter, crafter, administrator of 3 groups on Cafemom, Etsy seller, you name it, I do it. I probably forgot a lot of other things too. Where do I find the time? Do I really have any? When do I sleep? Well, I really don't get much. I guess I figured, everyone else is doing it so why can't I? I have these few minutes here and there like now when the boys are watching a movie and the baby is right here in the bonus room with me pulling everything out of the toy box that I just cleaned up. Oh, motherhood...it's a wonderful thing! Here lately I have been painting, a lot. I am crowding my closets with art and I should probably stop until I sell some of these. I did however take some of my paintings to a little boutique call "Laughing Lady" here in Simpsonville, SC which the owner so nicely displayed on her shop wall along with a huge stack of my business cards. And so it begins...Create Me A Canvas is taking off after a very slow 1st year.
